Fellas,
Currently my I140 is being processed. I expect it to be cleared any day now. I am planning to visit INDIA in September. I have given all the paperwork for I485 to my lawyer. My H1 expires in November.
If I140 is cleared How long will it take to get my EAD and do I need to send my Passport to Washington to get it validated with new information before going to INDIA...

It will take between 2-3 months to get the EAD, once you file for the 485. You need to be here to file for 485. If you are not able to file for 485 3months before your H1 expires better to renew the H1. You can travel on H1 if it is stamped in your passport.

I think u have a long way to go. Best bet is to get your H1 renewed before applying for 485.
