I filed I-140 & I-485 (RIR) in 2003 and was denied in Sept 2004 because of education evaluation and was approved in July 2005 after a long wait. MY PD is April 2001. EB3. Then agin we filed another I-140 & I-485 in June 2005 and was withdrawn because of the approval of my I-140. I got finger print notice with my new I-140 & I-485 applications. They did bio for both my husband and myself. My son who was then 14 plus got fingerprints. But it is not updated in the system yet. Will this help us to for the pending applications or do we have to go again. Our finger prints were done in Nove 2003, until now no other fingerprints requested, except for the new I-140 applications, was done and applications were cancelled. I am worried. Thank you.

Do not worry about biometrics and finger printing .. It is fairly an automated process and they will make sure that they have all Ur matrics before they hand over the GC.

On the lighter side .. when i went to my finger printing ... my boss thought something is wrong with me ... ha ha .. as only persons who have been arrested or want to serve in military take finger printing here... [he did not know figure printing is for immigrants too]

Good luck ... you got the good PD ... and might get everything done before NOV this ...

Rainu,

Was it a Substitute labour you filed ? As you said they have rejected it first time and you reapplied with the same labour or some other labour application?

Thanks

Redgo

It was not a substitute labor. I am still with the same employer. It was denied due to educational qualifications. I had to submit more evidence, and was approved.
