I will become a US citizen next month. My mother is here in the USA currently with me and I would like to file for her. She is currently on a tourist visa.

Can someone please guide me as to what I should next and what form I should use. Also how much time approx does it take to get a change of status/GC from my mother.

As soon as you have your Naturalization Certificate you can apply for your mom. You will need to file I-130m I-485 and several other forms. Check out http://uscis.gov/graphics/services/residency/family.htm for more info. Its pretty self explanatory.
