Appreciated if anyone can help me out on my problem. My spouse applied for I-485 and we got out EAD. I started working on EAD and due to business reasons, there is a need for me to go outside US (to the client\'s site). I may have to go there a couple of times in the next few months and we have not applied for AP. I am stuck now, can anyone suggest what I can do. Could I apply for a AP (if there is any fast track way to get it). If so then is it only a single entry permit or a multiple entry. Help PLEASE

AP is multiple entry.

If you have used EAD, you "got to" have AP to travel outside USA. Apply for it ASAP. Depending on the region, you might be able to get it the same if you walk in to the SC. Talk to your lawyer.

1. Go to your local INS office. Take a copy of your I-485. Fill out and submit I-131.. Depending on the case load, they may be able to process your I-131 and issue an AP within a few days (same day, if you\'re lucky). If they refuse to do so and refer you to a regional service center, it may take a few weeks (VSC - approx. 1.5 months, not sure about the other three).
2. Normally, AP\'s are valid for 1 year, multiple entries. Traveling on business should be a legitimate reason for requesting one.
3. You can file for AP yourself, there\'s no need to get a lawyer involved (unless, of course, your name in Donald Trump and you have loads of cash to spare). It\'s not rocket science.
