Help Please!! Wife's 485 Rejected

Hi,

I filed for I-140,I-485, EAD and AP along with my wife's 485, EAD and AP on Dec13th, 2004 to VSC. I got all my receipt notices on the first week of this month(Jan). I even got my AP and EAD approved already. But for my wife we received only AP receipt notice and didn't receive 485 and EAD receipt notices yet. I called NSC today and found that my wife's 485 was rejected coz of reason "incorrect or no fee" and a notice was sent 3 weeks back. Lawyer hasn't received anything yet. What should I do now? What are my chances now as the retrogression is already in effect?

Any help is very much appreciated. I'm so depressed!

sorry for ur situation. did u send one single check or 3 checks each for 485/ap/ead[spouse application]?...since her AP receipt notice is issued so I think u r safe because AP will not be issued if there is no underlying 485 application...there must be some technical error in their systems which can be investigated if u appeal. I dont think her application will be affected by PDR as she already has AP application. Good Luck.
 
Thanks for the positive reply fast_gc_seeker. Since lawyer sent all the checks, I don't know whether they were individual checks or one combined check. I'm yet to talk to my lawyer. Couldn't get hold of him.

Do they the send whole 485 application back to us now? Or it will be revived if we send the correct check (assuming that was the problem)?

I'm worried if her EAD and AP will be rejected following this 485 rejection?!

like i said b4, since her ap receipt is issued i doubt if 485 application will be rejected.
if u have sent wrong checks, resend just the check. why dont u call the national cust service # and discuss this with them.
