Help please... transit visa.. indian citizen..

Hello. we are indian citizens
My wife on H4 visa but not stamped as we changed from J1 to H1. She has a J2 visa stamped which expired in 2005. We have the I 797 and she has her approval of I 539.

She is going via amsterdam to India. would she need a transit visa at Amsterdam. She will not be leaving the airport...she is leaving the country in two weeks and we are really concerned

Transit visa not required at Amsterdam. Last June 2005 it was not required when I had gone and I think it is not required now also. However you can check this link to find if a transit visa is required.
