Hi,
2 wk back I lost my job (lay off), My ND AUG 24, 2000, I got some consulting job (hourly basis) but I need to open a company to do this.
Some people are suggesting opening a LLC (LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY).
I am going to do that and print pay stub for me (incase I get RFE for last 6 months pay stub) from the new company.
Do you think this is a problem because my company will be a one-man show and small?

The best option is find some friends or some one who already has a company (incorporated like what you are trying to do now) and
make a deal. you can work for his company and do your consulting work. Normally people would agree for 10% of your rate.
you can get the pay stub, employment letter from him. This is the easiest and safest way at your point. you can start your own
after you get your GC.

Do you then have to go back to the company who started off the GC process and do you have to work in the same location where your LC was applied ?
