Help please, Info needed - NIW

Hi ,
I have completed 3 year on my H4 visa and I will be joining residency
this July. Since I have only 3 years left on my H visa, can I process
my greencard during my residency or can I file for NIW. Please help, I am totally worried.

you can apply for NIW if you get a primary care residency in a program located in an underserved area. other option will be to apply for green card through your spouse. also if nothing works out at the end of your residency you can try for an O-1 visa. Another option would be to start an MPH on an F visa while looking for a job after residency

Don\'t worry!

The time you spent on H-4 does not count towards the six year limit! So you have six years on the H-1b visa when it\'s approved.
