HELP! I think my filipina wife and I have a problem. My wife has already requested and received Birth Certificates for herself and my daugther on the NSO security paper. It came on blue security paper with the Official NSO seal in the upper left and copy of signature of head of NSO at the bottom.
Today I received from my wife what NSO sent when she requested certified copies (like the birth certificates) of our Certificate of Marriage for purposes of the visa interview. (we all know how particular the embassy can be)
What we received from NSO was NOTHING like the security paper the birth certificates were on. The paper was PINK....there was no NSO seal, it did not contain the signature of the head of NSO and at the top right corner in small print it says "COPY FOR OCRG"
Has ANYONE else had their Certified certificate of marriage come on such pink paper with no seal and signature? My sweetie says this is all NSO will issue and her receipt says it is SECPA (Security Paper). I think she is getting the run around and if she brings this document the the embassy interview, they will reject it and deny her visa....
Anyone have any suggestions...PLEASE!!
