I'm filling out N-400. However, I had a petty offense (legally a misdemeanor charge), and am quite confused with some of the terms used in Questions 15-18.
It was a fishing code violation. The officer stopped me and later handed me a ticket, just like what one would expience with a speeding violation. I certainly was *cited* and *charged*. However, was I
a. *arrested*?
b. *detained*?
The case was closed after I paid my fine - it was like no contest. Was that a
c. *conviction*?
Some people are saying here that one should bring along the court documents to the interview. My question is whether these documents should be submitted along with the application.
