help! - opinions needed - h1b visa trouble

i work for a financial compay (BCG) in NJ. recently my h1 visa was approved but i have been worried ever since then. the reason for that is, my company didn't sign the petition for me. i "kind of" signed the application for my hr (by using her signature). she didn't know anything about it until my visa was approved and returned to our company.that's when it all got revealed. my hr was not happy about it and claimed that she'd have to let my vice president know and see what their action would be. i was really freaked out at that time, thought i was in big trouble. thank god, my hr's contract ended on the same week when this incident happened. so she left the company and a new hr came in not knowing anything about it. i thought the nightmare ended...

lately, seems like there's some sign about this incident being reported to uscis. i'm still not sure whether andrea (the previous hr) did inform my vice president or not, but i'm worried my visa will be revoked because of the fraud signature.

what should i do? i don't want my company nor the uscis to find out about this. do you think they'll find out eventually? i'm really worried.

Firstly, this is extremely illegal and you could be in serious trouble. I am surprised that how did you get various docs required for H1 which only your company can provide.

Also I do not think you can apply for student visa,etc. as this will require that you go back to your home country and apply for it. If that is possible consider that.

Best way is to consult an attorney and take legal advice.
 
thanks patkt for answering my questions. the thing is, my company did know about the fact that i needed to apply for a h1b visa. they did agree on doing the sponsorship for me (i'm paying all the fees though). however, due to the h1b quota and all other reasons, i was worried that i couldn't get my hr to sign the paperwork and submit my petition back to my lawyer on time. i therefore decided to complete everything on my own (just in case if they didn't approve my application or whatever). if my visa was approved, that means uscis didn't catch it at that time. which means, they can't revoke my visa anymore, can they?
 
Fraud and Illegal

I think you need to inform your company about this or they'll be in big trouble if USCIS found out about this (how would they find out I'm not sure). You should not do the fraudulent signature in the first place (even though your company did agree to help you getting your visa, they never had a chance to look at your petition to approve the submission). But if your company finds out about this, you may not be able to keep your job either.
 
That's one of the most illogical thing I have ever heard about. This is called "fraud" and if USCIS finds out about it you maybe in trouble and you will NEVER be able to get you GC.
