It still exists but it now acts as the National Benefits Center. It's address remains in Missouri.

i just got a Request of initial eveidence in the mail. My husband didnt fill out the I-864 because im using a joint sponsor, and i didnt know they still needed his form of I-864 (he only has taxes for the last 2 years) and he is not working right now because he goes to college full time with a running scholarship, is that a problem?

oh and they need evidence of actual income from my joint sponsor but she doest have it because she is a real estate agent and doesnt get pay stubs, the only thing she has is 2 houses she sold, is that enough evidence?

Evidence of current income for a real estate agent can be obtained from the managing broker she works under.

A statement in addition to last years tax returns will suffice.

yes your husband needs to file it and u're co sponsor needs a leter from her boss, or if self employed her recent income tax trnscripts for the past 3 years and i would say the 2 lates transaction she's made, like the 2 last houses she sold,,, that's so far her latest income.

thanks so much i was so nervous because this year she didnt sell much because the market is down, but the years before that she was fine. is that going to slow my timeline? im planing on sending everything thay are asking for as soon as possible maybe a week

It will slow it down for a little bit (depends on how soon you send it) look at my time line, I guess mine was slowed down 1 week, maybe less. :)

yes USCIS works on a first come first serve, they only process complete files, so they will keep u're file untill u send them the complete documentation, there and then will they resume processing u're case.
