Help on Medical Question

My ND is 03/2002

I didn’t submit medical report with my I485 application. My question is do I have to go for medical with out REF from BCIS. If there is any Canadian in this site please let me know if you went for Medical. My lawyer told me no need for Medical since I am Canadian.

I used to work with a Canadian guy. He didn't submit his medical when he filed for I-485. He got an RFE for that report, passed the medical and submitted it in response. He told me that it is not necessary to file the medical right away. I think everyone has to provide it irrespective of nationality.

PS It was a marriage based case. Not that it should matter, but still...

I think I have to wait till BCIS send me REF. I am planing to call BCIS and ask them if I can submit my medical before they sent me Ref to save some time.
