Hi guys ,
I need your views on the job description to be filled on the Labor application and for advertising for an RIR application.
Gurus ...any opinion would be appreciated
The position is for an Intermediate test engineer DOT code : 033.262.010
and the job description looks like this :
"Evaluate and Test software applications for use in data warehousing market
Design, code and execute manual and automated tests including performance, load and installation tests on multiple operating systems, to ensure product quality, using Software Test Automation tools like QuickTest Pro, Visual Test or Silk Test and Test Director. Evaluate results. Document errors; provide summary report on product quality. Review Requirements, Design specifications, provide feedback to development engineers.
Proficiency in structured query language (SQL) programming on various databases, knowledge of Perl, Java Or Visual Basic Scripting Technologies
Knowledge of testing methodology, test planning, execution, defect management, results reporting."
I just wanted to make sure that this would not be considered unduly restrictive by DOL since there are specific tools mentioned
