help on FOLLOWING TO JOIN

Hi,

I got my I-485 approved recently. I got married to an INDIAN girl before my I-485 approval date and currently she is in India. Since my visa status is EAD(NOT H1b) I can not bring her on H4 to USA. Advise on the following:

1. Please suggest me on ALL the steps to begin the processing for my wife's IMMIGRANT VISA under following to join context.

2. Do I need to file any thing in USA to begin with?

3. At the same time what kind of documents does she need to get ready in INDIA since she has to go to Chennai.

4. How long does this entire process takes?

It will either be I 824 or I 130

I think it depends on how you got your green card, through job or relative?

If you & the wife are Indian citizens,
then you can start & end your FTJ case in about 4 months:

Start filling out the I-824. Forget about I-130.
