I just got finger print notice which scheduled on later of September. I remeber you guys mentioned we can have it done earlier than the scheduled date. My question will be:
1. What do I have to do if I want to do it earlier then the scheduled time? do I need to call the FP center to schedule time? or just stop by without any notice?
2. Except the finger print notice and the phone ID, is there anything else I need to bring with me for finger print?
3. What time is the best for me to go to center in Sacramento?
4. Anything else I need to pay attention?
thanks a lot for information

HI Luckstar,
Firstly, they are not allowing for the predated Fingerprints. Secondly, you are just a couple of weeks away from the actual scheduled date. So dont bother. And trust me, it doesnt really matter when you get your finger printing done. Cases are processed according to one's Notice date

I agree,

I gave my finger prints ahead of shedule.......

Finger prints are nothing to do with approval rate.....

anyone who did FP ahead of schedule, please comments..

Thanks for cooments, GoTitans and chiefcook.

You mentioned the pre-schedule FP is not allowed, but if you looks through this board, you will find most people had their FP done before the schedule.

Anyway, If anyone here has this experience (did FP before schedule), please share you experience, please.

Thanks

I did my FP before schedule...This is in San Jose...I read from various postings on this, that it might depend on the ASC on whether they allow predated FPs...You can call up the ASC and ask them if they do it predated...

you just need your ID, FP notice - that is all...You cantake your passport along - just in case...make sure your fingers got no cuts etc on them...

I guess that was it for me...it took me 20 mins start to end...

Hi guys....

You all say that preponing FP doesnt help fasten the process.. I have a quetion for you guys.. I am single so to delay my GC process(To buy more time) I delayed the FP for 84 days...

I gave the FP on Aug 18th & within 3 days the msg changed to 'case has been resumed" .... What I wanted to know that has delaying my FP delayed my AOS or not....

Also my WAC is 002-77

Does anybody know when I should expect my approval since I delayed my FP for 3 months....

Some people say FP is independent process and some say its linked
