Help on applying for Wife's 485

Hello Gurus,

I need help on applying for my wife's 485. Not sure if I'm eligible to apply for her as we are from Retrogressed county -India- 'coz of visa number non-availability.

And I noticed from some of the posts that NSC (where my case is filed) is currently processing cases between Mar-Apr'04. Does this mean the visa numbers are available again? My PD for LC is May '03 - and PD for 485 is Aug '04. Both LC and I140 are approved for me, still waiting for my 485 approval...

You can't apply for spouse's 485 till your PD becomes current, neither can your case be approved.

Based on your PD, it is at least 2-3 years away.
Makes sure you do not loose your H1 status(by using EAD) till then, or else the spouse will be out of status.
