This is for my mom

She came to US as a green card holder on November 2001 stayed in USA ultil 2002 August. went to India on august 2002 returned to usa after 11 months.

They questioned her at the airport why did you stayed for 11 months my Mom replied "Daughter delivery and Brother marriage)

Then in 2003 spend 23 days in India. After this 2005 spend 3 months. In 2006 spend spend 4 months. In 2007 spend 4 months in India.

My question when can she apply for US citizen?

She spend 11 months in India does this affect her process?

Nov 2001 + 5 years = Nov 2006, so I think that she can apply now.

But, yes, the 11 months can get in the way. She'll need to prove that her "continuous residence" was not broken by that trip. Did she keep a residence and/or family and/or other "residential ties" (a car, a cell phone account, etc) during her 11 months away? Did she consider herself a resident of the US (rather than of India) all of the time she was away? Did she file resident taxes while she was away?

By the way, in English, proper nouns and the start of sentences begin with capital letters (I'm not trying to embarass you - we all come from different countries with different alphabets and languages and grammars (well, not really, I came from Canada, but...)). Basic English grammar is good to know during citizenship interviews :)
