Help On Advance Parole

I applied for AP during July and I got that in August. I am planning to leave the country for a month during Dec using my AP (since my visa got expired).
I have got my EAD also.

Now my question is if I use the AP does it mean that I will be using my EAD going forward and my H1 is invalid? I am hearing mixed reactions from different people verbally. Can anyone of you please tell me how this works?

No, you can remain in US and work on H1 after return to US on AP.
