Hello Everybody,

We have completed our last GC.procudures like index fingerprint, signature and photos on April 07,06 in Manhattan NY.Since procudere has changed they did not stapm our possport and lady behind the counter told us that we would be receiving the cards in the mail shortly. It has been more than a month no welcome letter nor GC.Since this happened at local office do you guys think if i call customer service # they can give me some info or should i get an info pass and go to locall office.Or is it too early to do this at this stage?
Please share your opinions.
Thank You

Waiting for the cards

i think 5-6 weeks waiting is very normal, my friend got his GC 5 weeks after the I-89 had been done.

Please see my signature for dates. My GC production application was through the "old" system and therefore took longer. Yours should be faster, but it's definitely too early at this stage for you to worry about it. Just be patient. And calling customer service # won't help a bit (I did that) because they most likely haven't received your case back from the local office yet. As soon as they get your files, the processing for GC goes really fast (it took them only a couple of days to create my I-181 case and mail out my card).
