Help needed!

Hi,

I and my wife got approved on April 29th, 2003. Today we received my wife's approval letter, but not mine. My lawyer received both approval letter yesterday.

The problem is that BCIS goofed up in my address change. ZIP code is not correct in my approval letter. As a result my wife has to go to Philly (correct) and I have to go to Buffalo, NY (wrong).

Today I called IIO and they said that it was a typo and they corrected my address.

Can I take the Buffalo, NY approval letter and get the passport stamped at Philly? Or do I have to wait for revised courtsey approval letter (which IIO promised to send ASAP)?

Any help is appreciated!!

Go to the nearest INS office in your place.
You can use the existing approval. (different address/wrong address is not a problem)

I had the same issue and got stamped at my local ins office..
