Please help me; I’m in a desperate situation.
I am a UK citizen (recently separated) from my US wife, we have a son with special needs (autism) who was born in America and now lives with my wife. I first arrived in America in 2005 on a tourist visa and shortly after, the same year we got married. We started the green card process, but due to lack of funds we couldn't continue.
Is there any way that I can work and live in the US legally, I need to be able to support my family, and don’t want to leave the US. I have no finance, and the only id I have is my UK driving license. I know it’s going to be just about impossible as I and my wife have misdemeanor charges of domestic violence against each other.
I have been told, that if I leave the US, to go back to England, I can't return for 10 years, that’s why I need to find a loop hole to be able to get my citizenship, I will never abandon my son and return to England, please help me...
An attorney told me it might be possible to get my Green Card, Citizenship when the new President takes over and I claim for amnesty, does anyone have any details about this so I can pursue it.
