Hi all,

I have a question about name on GC. I have 3 parts in my first name. My GC has last name, one first name and one initial the other two parts of first name. But my passport has full name. In the hightened security world, is it necessary to correct the name on GC with full expansion as in passport? If so, what should I do? Is it possible?

As far as I can see

In my opinion you are fine. If you gave the correct name when applying for GC, I don\'t see much of a problem. Real test comes when you go out of the country and come back. If at that time you get some sort of problem (I wouldn\'t expect a big problem in my opinion), like secondary inspection with too many extra questioning, you may ask if this was because of the name in the card, and then apply for a replacement card if it becomes an issue, but I doubt it.

I assume the birth certificate you gave with your AOS has also your full name.
