My client forcing me to join. Need advise from experts...
Thanks in advance.

I think you should be fine changing job. Many people change job even before getting their GC approved (with EAD using AC21 clause), then why should someone who already has a GC suffer with the same employer if he/she finds a better prospect :D

You are entitled to change jobs

Well before receiving your GC and after 180 days have passed since the filing of your I-485. Of course, we all have our specific set of circumstances in making such a decision. But if your job description is similar you can change prior to GC issuance, provided you meet the 180 limit.

There are still questions around AC21, at least the answers are vague at times from attorneys in this area. So even under AC21 there are no gurantees, so remaining with your current employer is probably the most conservative approach.

Re. your question, should you move on? My personal opinion is that you should not have any issues. Your current employer may raise eyebrows but I don't think they have any basis on the issue even if they file an official complaint. Given that it is the client that you are joining I don't think the employer would want to jeopardize their relationship with the client and sounds like you are on a 'right-to-hire' basis with the client.

People recommend staying on for 6sixmonths/1year, etc. probably as goodwill so that there are no hard feelings between you and the sponsoring employer. But legally you should be fine. I am not an attorney, this is only an opinion.

good luck!

If you do change.....

.. do remember to get the very same Job profile / Job title from your client as mentioned in your GC application ( even though you might be doing better than that stuff ).
