help needed regarding imigration process

My elder brother is an US citizen; he applied for immigration visa for me.

In 2000, I received an interview call letter from the US consulate
Mumbai, at that time I had some family problem, so I requested them to
extend my interview date. After that I have not heard from them.

I would like to know that, is it possible that I can process my
immigration paper from US, or can you guide me what paper I will need
from my Sponcer (brother) so that I can immediately process the paper
wok in India after I go back .

I don't believe you are able to process your paperwork while in the US - ask someone who knows more about this.

I have to say that postponing your interview in 2000 was a very bad decision -
