Help needed please.

Here's my story.

My Company X in India has US branch which processed my LC and 140. Both are approved.
My Company X aqcuired Company Y(US Company) and now planning to transfer me to Company Y.

I am yet to File I485 due to retrogression. I am wondering will this affect anything for me.

Any help appriciated.

I think as long as your job location and job is the same all the new company needs to do is file an amendment to I140 replacing the employer A and showing papers of aquistion etc. That part lawyers should be familier with.

I had more or less same situation except both companies are American. Lawyer for the new company filed the amendment and I now have new I 140 ie I 140 in new company name, which was approved too
