Help needed in Sending Fax Enquiry to CSC for FP Notice

Hi Can any one help me on this. I applied my I-485 in November and has the noticed date of DEC4th. My friend applied in Jan2002 and got the finger print notice from INS in two weeks and I am waiting for more than two months. This looks to be amazing. Can any one let me know how to send the fax enquiry to INS to get the finger print notice, including the necessary form used and the fax no. Most of the people I know got the FP notices by sending the Fax enquiry. I asked my laywer several times but she hasn\'t so far. I want to sent it on my own. I live in Fremont CA.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
Do not worry, you will get it

You can send fax inquiry only if 120 days pass after your ND.
Also, early FP does not mean early approval.
FP notices are sent out by ZIP code and FP\'s are now scheduled at the time when your 485 is entered in INS system.

So, FP will come when it is scheduled. Some areas get delayed FP notices. You should worry if you do not get FP notice even after 120 days have passed after your ND
 
Thanks for the valuable information

From 2002 INS has changed the FP Notice sending system. When I filed the system was different I think. I was worried in this tough economy every day is important and FP is the last requirement for the INS from applicant to make a decesion, I tought the approval decesion depends on the FP submission date. Please psot any vaulabel information like this.
