Help Needed in DOB correction in I-485

Dear friends

We just received my wife\'s EAD after a long wait (about 4 months). But, we found her date of birth was wrongly recorded. Month was printed as \'07\' instead of \'09\'. I verified with my lawyer and found that he was the one typed it wrongly in I-485 application. He said, he\'s going to talk to service center. Is this easy to change ?? Will there be any use calling my self ? My lawyer is swamped and don\'t know when he will call !!!

I don\'t know what the lawyer did

but my lawyer sent me all the papers for verification before filing, then I could make sure that every number was right. In this way if there was a mistake, then it wouldn\'t be the lawyers fault only. Anyway, I don\'t see any reason why you couldn\'t call if you want. Go ahead, call them and try to straighten up this situation. That\'s my opinion. Let\'s see if someone else has a successful experience to share. Anyway, if you supplied copies of passport, or birth certificate, these should have the correct dates.
