Help needed for Travel

Hi All

I got my first approved AP which is expiering on 05/02/05. I have applied for my second AP - RD 01/28/05. I also got my valid H4 till sept'05
My question is I want to visit India in april to celebrate my son's first b'day. But the online case status states that it is taking between 150 - 180 days for this type of application to process.

Is it ok if I go before I get my second approved AP. Can i reenter on my H4 visa?

I will appreciate a quick response from all gurus.

As long as you come back before the expiration date on the existing AP, you will be fine. This renew AP is an independent case.

H4 visa can be used to reenter to USA as long as it is valid. However AP will be a backup in case your I-485 is approved while you are outside USA.
