I called INS and they said they are processing the 485 cases of June. Please hold your self if you are to break down.
Then I said my H1-B expires at 4/18 next year. She said I should go ahead to file for EAD. And I my EAD can not get approved by 4/18 then I can to to local office to get a temp EAD. I finished the conversation before hang up. The questions remains is that in Chicago which office should I contact? Local INS or LAbor dept. Any one has been through this? Whatis the number?
