I am in H1 and my wife in H4. Now my company (A) closes down and I filed to change status from H1->F2 together with my wife's change from H4->F1. My wife is going to attend a MS degree program starting this coming September. Now it seems I will be getting new job and want to change status back to H1/H4. My questions are:
1. While change of status H1/H4->F2/F1 is still pending, may I file another application for H1B transfer to the new company B together with my wife's change to new H4? I heard that was fine until recently some one say NOT ANYMORE.
2. Now rumor says that, if changing status from H visa to F1 still pending, the person can not file another petition for new H visa for new job offer but has to wait until F1 get approved and actually registered in school. Is that true?
