I'm from MI and my company is ready to do RIR to cut LC time. I heard that something similar to premium H1 is coming up for LC's which will enable me to go ahead and file 485 and i140 withing 6 weeks, its called PERM or something. They said this service would probably start after June 2003.

What is it?
Is that info true?
What are the eligibility requirements?
Should I wait?

Thanks in advance....

Serch for PERM in any of immigration website (www.immigration.com, www.murthy.com, www.immigration-information.com etc) ..or search on google for PERM ..you will get lots of information. People have been waiting for that becoming real for long & nobody is still sure when exactly it will come in effect.. before couple of months it was announced that PERM regulations will be published in APRIL 03 & implementaion will be doen from July but looks like it will be delayed again.

Its 3 week turn around labor certification process with most of the cases will be passed within those 3 weeks (thats what thay say !)..

you can either wait for PERM or can apply regular RIR now & convert the application in PERM later keeping your old priority date.

thanks gp...

been to those web sites and gathered a lot of info.
but none of them talks about the eligibility or requirements for PERM. Probably there is no difference apart from $$$$$ which was not mentioned on those websites..

Does anyone on this board has any idea about the cost of filing PERM? and special requirements??

Thanks!!!

Eligibility requirements will be the same as normal Nor RIR/RIR cases.. Forms, Fees & Stuff, they are going to publish it soon.. let's hope for the best.
