Help needed !!! Applicant Name misspelled on EAD receipt notice

Hi,

My name is misspelled on my EAD receipt notice which I got couple of days back. (I have filed the EAD application myself)

Did anyone had a similar problem, can you please let me know what needs to be done to get it corrected so that when the EAD gets approved it refers the correct name.

Hi,

I had the same issue for my 140 and 485 application, I spoke to the BCIS guys over the phone and asked them to change it and sent a written request as well with the correct name. They have made the changes. No issues. So just try to get in touch with them and it's a piece of cake for them.. They will do it. Best time to contact BCIS is first thing in the morning..:) Good Luck..
