Help needed! Anybody got 8th year H-1b extension using New LC?

Does anyone know if it is feasible to change job in this case?

My 6 Year H-1b expiring on Mar. 2006, I got an offer from another company, they already obtained a 7th year H-1b extension expiring on Mar. 2007 using my LC with the current company (filed in 2002) and currently filing for a new LC using PERM. My question is if I will be able to apply for 8th year extension based on the new LC?

Any suggesion, advice and knowledge is greatly appreciated!!!

I am in a similar problem as stated above. Could anyone comment on our situation and likely 8th year extension based on new LC approval.

Similar Situation

I'm in similar situation. My new company attorney told me yesterday that I must use old LC (LC used to get 7th year ext with previous employer) to file for 8th year extension with current employer but he added the phrase that that's what his understanding is ???

I'm looking for second opinion specially from someone who has done it.

My situation is little different, my old employer had filed two LCs from two different states one in 2001 which is stuck with NOF and another was filled in 2004. I got H1b 6 yr ext with 2001 LC and changed job my new company is in the process of filing my new LC with PERM. I'm planing to use my previous employer's LC filed in 2004 for 8th year extension? Is it possible ????
