Help needed about Advance Parole

Please help me out:
I used Advanced Parole, which was issued for my family-based I-485, to enter US this January. The custom officer stamped my I-94 as "Paroled until Jan XX 2006". Does anyone has the same experience? What does this mean?

I think it would mean that your AP is valid for one year. Thats normally how long it is valid for.
I am still waiting for my Advanced Parole to arrive. What was your time line for receiving your AP from the date you applied? Thanks.

Thats normal. The date on your I-94 would be one year from the date you entered US using AP or the date your AP expires (Whichever the officer at POE decides). This however does not mean that you will accure illegal presence after your I-94 expiry date. You are still under legal pending AOS status and will be till your AOS application is pending (even after your I-94 expired). So the I-94 has no bearing on your stay. It is only a proof that you entered US legally and were inspected at the POE.

thanks for the replies:

I Filed I-131 With I485 In March2004, Vermont Center. Got My Ap In 60 Days.
