i had my interview last friday sept 11 everything went well i passed the test and handed me the congratulation letter.on the way home i just realized that he asked me if i worked at babies r us and i said yes and he put present on my application the thing is i quit to that job since may 05 2008.what should i do..is it gonna deny my citizenship??:(
 
So, are you currently unemployed? Why didn't you fill the application with the end date. I would assume that at the time you applied for naturalization you were no longer working with that company, so you could have put a start and end date. Were you worried they would deny you because you are unemployed? Somewhat I get the feeling you are not telling us the whole story.

No worries. You will be approved regardless.
 
By the way, I forgot to mention that being unemployed does not affect naturalization. If it makes you feel better you can schedule an Infopass and let them know about the mistake, because it is irrelevant that you no longer work with them since 2008, but it would be relevant if someone wants to pursue that you gave misleading or incorrect information at the interview. Anyway, all in all is probably not a big deal one way or the other.
 
thank you all for the reply..i did put the end date but when he asked me i thought his asking if i did worked at that company and i said yes i just realized that he asked if im still working with that company i missed undertood what his asking..is it gonna be reason immigration denied my citizenship
 
I don't think your citizenship is going to be denied, but if this is causing you a lot of concern you should schedule an Infopass and tell them what happened. They'll probably tell you everything is alright, but it will give you extra peace of mind.
