my case is for aslyee.
i have been approved but my case is in processing in order to get a green card in my hand. it's been almost 8 years i haven't heard anything from BCIS. what i like to know is that when will i get my fingerprint appointment, interview and green card. my recived date is july 26 99. and notice date is november 10 99. i call BCIS to ask them what happend to my case. they said that u will recieve something in 30 days. and i don't knwo what is something is? is it fingerprint appointment, interview or green card? pls comment on this. i really want to know. is there anyone here that has same problem?

If I were you I would take all my documents and filing papers to the USCIS local office and meet a officer. If you are represented by a lawyer consult him.

I beleive you must hire a experienced Attorney. and let them do his job. it wasn't mentioned that you applied urself or through attorney.

get a good attorney and follow ur pettition. what case u are talking about aproval????....... u did file 485 on 10- 1999 right????? and did u ever got any paper or letter from them????
I believe u are ralking ur asylem based case was approved. and then u filed 485??

i didn' applied by myself. i applied through my attorney. my case aslyee granted then i filed for I-485 which was pending now it's processing. my filed date was july 26 99 and notice date is november 10 99. from 99 i didn't get any letter or anything from them. now pls tell me what should i do? should i contact with congressman or somthing else pls tell me.

Thats probably not a bad idea. Take all your documents to the congreeman's office and explain your case. He can call USCIS and check the status of your case over the telephone if he is convinced about your case.
