Help me pl for the right visa.

Hi!!

I have a situation here.....


Ok friends i have a situation, I have b1 visa which was sponsored by company A but i resigned and have come to USA

on the same visa for Company B. its been 3 months i been working for this company B. I want to get my wife here, how

can i.....?? I am missing her very badly, Can anyone suggest me with right idea, i want to be in status.

What are the possible ways i can get her here in US?

FYI,

B1 visa does not allow you to work for any company.

You here here represnting the company that sent you, you are not supposed to be paid at all, except for may room and board/ stipend.

Your wife will have to apply for her own B1/2 to join you but who will sponsor her. You are not suppossed to be making money here.

You should have asked your company to sponsor your H1. and bring your wife on h4
 
I m not working here, i have come with a contract with company B for some project planning and am not earning any salary here, basic needs are taken care of. My salary is being paid in India.

I am seeking guidance on what steps can i take to be here in US and get my wife here. I dont have any idea about it so am concerned.

if you are here on B1 then your recourse is to bring your wife on B1 by sposoring her, but at the same time you will not be able to stay beyound the next 3 months as B1 allows stay of 6 month or less at a time. Have you checked your I-94.

Given that scenario it seems impossible for your wife to make it here before you leave unless she already has a B1/2. Becuase even now the appointment dates at the embassies are not available for 4-6 months and it would take you a few weeks to get the paperwork ready.

Your recourse right now it to get a H1 or L1 for yourself and bring your wife as a dependant.
