My H1B got expired on sep 30,2001.My emplyoer didnot renew my H1B.But my
RD 7/25/01,ND 9/17/01 for I-485 and got EAD on 9/19/01 from local INS office.
My question is Does It automatically swithes to my EAD or My employer should do inform INS or do I need to inform INS regarding this.What exactly do I need to do,Please give your ideas,

fill I-9 form

you got to fill the I-9 form and fill it in with your A number which you will find on your EAD card.

You would have filled an I-9 form with your H1-B number when you joined the company earlier.

Ask your Hr or Legal department for the form.
