HELP: lost visa appointment letter and ref number

In october I invited my parents to USA and chose Jan 25th (tomorrow) appointment at new delhi consulate for their visa application. Unfortunately I lost the appointment letter and the reference number. Can anyone suggest what will happen when they present themselves tomorrow at the consulate with no visa appointment letter? And also, is there any way to get a copy from the consulate?
