Hello friends,

I got rfe on I-140 (04-MAy-04) and I-485 (06-Jun-04) .
I-140 Rfe replied on 01-Jul-04, did not get I-485 Rfe yet, So my lawyer requested duplicate copy on 07/14/04.
Yesterday my lawyer personally went to vermount office (becs her office s few miles away from vermount office) again asked for duplicate copy..Officer kept her waiting and did investigation and told her tht they have all information what they need for I-485 becs on I-140 rfe we did send all documents ,even though they were not required. so they do not need any addional information...
according to My lawyer, LUD on 485 should change within 1-2 weeks.

I am confused..Have any one gone through ths...please help me....any comments..

To MA_USER whadup , MA-USER tiger2025... Did you get ur I-485 Rfe and I-140 Approved ?

I received the 485 rfe in the second of June, and sent the response first week of july. status says received response. No updates after that.

In your case, and I am speculating here, it is possible that the rfe you are awaiting was actually addresses to another entity other than you/your attorney/company, like how it happened to me during I140 ( RFE during my I140 was sent to DOL for a copy of Labor cert, while I had anxious moments for almost 3 weeks, DOL sent response to USCIS and the status got updated and later approved ).

While I do not know what document USCIS may have wanted from say DOL during I485, I hope this thought of mine gives a different perspective for you to follow up.

Well, if your lawyer and the USCIS person says it is fine, then it should be fine.
