Hi,

I have 485 pending with NSC concurrent filing EB3 with ND 03-03-03. 140 and 2 EADs approved. On 2 nd August, I sent AR-11 for address change and also called USCIS customer service to inform about address change for 485 applications for me and our 2 kids. They did not take details for my wife's application and told me that she should call separately. On 3 rd August, my wife called USCIS customer service and provided details of address change. LUD for my case and kids case changed for the first time on 06-August-2004 and there was no email received and no change in 485 application status, it still shows standard message -- 570 to 600 days processing time etc. (this is message from day 1). Then on 10th August I received letters from NSC about address change for me and 2 kids.

But there was no change in LUD for my wife. Then on 18th Aug LUD for her case changed, it changed again on 19th and 20th. On 20th I recievd email and her status also changed. It now shows

On August 20, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

LUD for her case changed again today. I know this is not the message for RFE. Does any one has any idea what is it about and what is happening to her case. Has any one noticed this kind of situation. Thanks.

what happened to you guys is pretty normal...same happened to our cases so dont worry....they change LUD when they touch your case and you will get email when they change message on your case so just LUD change doesnt generate email....

Mid of 2003, USCIS has started sending snail mail confirmation on every Address change. Who know this..., this LUD change could be due to Address change... Good news is your application is being touched...., for what ever the reason is...

Thanks for your response. I am confused due to fact that for 3 cases LUD changed once, no email, no status change and letters confirming address changes received. While for one case LUD changed for 3-4 days in a row, email received and status also changed. I am trying to understand what does this status mean - "we responded to your request for more information concerning your case".

Does this mean they want more info about address change or some thing else. Thanks.

You see all kinds of strange things like this. For example my password expired and I had to change it, so I did. 5 min later I get paged and I see the Subject was something USCIS.. Wow I got so excited :) , and what??? "...you password has been changed..." email. :(

Just keep a copy of AR11 for safe side and dont worry. the message is regular for everyone. they just thought that you only called CIS and did not submit AR 11 so they sent you a form. If you already did that then you are fine
