I need your help to understand this message. Today when I called up TSC service center and talked with the officer she said my mase is currently under "pre-adjudication". I tried to get the more information from her does that means my security check is cleared or not she said she cannot say anything about that but again says my case is under "pre-adjudication". What does this mean? Can anybody please explain this. My case is under EB1-EA and I-485 submitted on 7th September 2006. I did not have any recent LUD change after 9/26/2006 after my EAD/AP approval.

thanks

As far as I know, they pre-adjudicate the cases while the case is pending due to visa numbers non availability and/or pending background checks. So that, your case can move faster when visa numbers become available for that category and/or background checks complete

The people at National Customer Service center, seems to read a generic message that appears on their screen, no matter what the question is.
Very frustrating.

Dont sweat over it. It means nothing significant.

newdoc,
Don't read much into it. I was told the same thing 2 years before I got approval. This just means your case is pending due to PD or security clearance or name check or whatever.

I also found out from an infopass appointment that my case is pre-adjucated. It is pending background check (since March 2005).

KJ I mean to ask you: did you do anything to expediate your namecheck? So far I knaow FBI is not responding to e-mail request anymore. How did you get a response from them?

Thank you in advance for your response.

Search for KJ's thread in this forum to find out what I did. It included contact with congressmen, First Lady, Hooton, etc.
