Help in filling EAD form

Hello,

I have few queries regarding filling EAD (I-765) form. I obtained my and my wifes first EAD with the help of attorney. This time we are filling without the help of attorney. This is our second EAD application. I have never used my EAD for work. I have approved/valid H1B up 2007. However, my wife uses her EAD to work and also has an approved H4 visa up to 2007.

I would like to know certain details regarding filling up the form..

My questions are...

1) What is the immigration status of my wife?
2) Do we need to enter both, the Alien # and the I-94 # in I-765 form?
3) Which USCIS Center did I apply and DATE? I know I applied to Texas Service Center but what to put in the date section? Would this date be the date printed on the form which came along with the first EAD card? Please clarify?

I just filed a month ago without an attorney and I got my EAD back in 3 weeks.
In my opinion I would renew the EAD, maybe you'll need it if the opportunity knocks the door.
To answer your questions:
1) I-485 Pending Ajustment of status (AOS)
2) I did only enter the A#
3) Usually to the center processing your 485

I did include the following
I-765 form
2 photos
check for $175
photocopy of pending 485
photocopy of unexpired EAD
the top portion of the letter that came with my first EAD.

Attorney says he filed my I-485 and I-675 at the following address...

Texas Service Center
4141 St. Augustine Road
Dallas, TX 75227

I am now applying for renewal of I-765. To which TSC address do I send my application. Thanks in advance.

If ur 485 transfered to Local Office then use local office addr (use uscis.gov site to find addr),


If TSC is processing 485 case than your attorney is lying. use the follow addr, u shouldn't let att know that u are filing urself.

You make sure that you are sending to the address mentioned on your 485 and also your old 765 receipt, and also it should match with the address on the first EAD mailer.

there will be a PO Box.
