help in filing adjustment of status

hi,

I am currently on F1 Status. My opt ended on 5th march and I am currently on a new F1 which requires me to start the school before august 4 of this year. I am engaged to a USC and I am planning to get married next month in the month of May. I wanted to know what are the steps that I have to keep in mind while applying for the adjustment of status. Are there any specific things that would be required on my part to get this done without any complications & or would I better be off taking a lawyer or I can do all the applications by myself...
 
You can do all the paperwork yourself, but, take advice from a lawyer. There are chances that since you are changing from F1 to AOS, there might questions in your case, again, this may not be the case for all. Thanks
