Help!! I am stuck in the twilight Zone!!

Alright guys, I received an online update saying that my welcome letter has been sent and that I am registered. I guess now I'll just wait for the LUD saying my card has been put into production.

Thanks to everyone on this forum for all your valuable information and help man. An immigration lawyer would have cost at least $3000K to file.

Finally!!!!! June 9th, greencard arrived. Its in my hand right now!
Thanks to all you guys I didnt have to hire a lawyer and waste about $3000!! You guys are the best!

Congratulations, bljinadu!!!

I'm glad it all worked out for you!

Soon, I'll be going through the same TB ordeal. I'm already scared. I'm actually thinking about getting the skin test done before my interview, just in case... :(

Anyway, enjoy your new status! :D

YES!!!! I am suprised you haven't gone back to do your skin test!! GO and DO IT!!!! Take the sealed envelope with you to the interview so when you get there and they talk about that, you hand them the skin test in the hand.

Yeah, I think you're right. But, I still think it's stupid! My test WILL BE positive...

So, I'll give the envelope to the IO, (s)he opens it, finds out that the test was positive, and then what? They'll ask me for my x-rays? But, that's already there!

I think it's unbelievably stupid. And, how come we don't hear about other DO's doing that, but Atlanta. I will really have to try to keep my cool and not to go off on them during my interview...

Anyway, thanks for the advice, bljinadu. I think I will do it. No matter how stupid I think it is...

Yeah, just do it and shut them up. If they have their stupid process that makes them feel like they are "almighty" then just patronize them to get what you need :-)

I'm still hoping that it's an issue local to the Atlanta DO. I just started a new thread to try to find out about it. I'm kinda hoping that if that's the case, perhaps something could be done to fix it. Wishful thinking, eh?

It's so frustrating that you can't really do anything about regulations like this. I will have to take off work twice just to do that test.

Also, I'm afraid that now they'll ask me to have another X-ray done, as they may say that I could've gotten TB since the last time I had it (February).
