Help I-485 interview and FP

I got my I-485 interview notice, while I have not have my finger print done. I heard usually FP should be done before interview, anyone has the same experience?
 
I heard of a case kind of similar, but it was a marriage based i485, the wife's FP was scheduled for a month after the interview, the officer notice this during the interview and sent her to the ASC that was in the same building, she actually didn't have a interview, they just ask general questions to the husband and the case was approved a week later. But in your case I would try to go to an ASC with the interview notice and try early FP (that's what I would do).
 
Please advise when was your file transferred ?
And when did you got your letter
what all things they have asked ?

My file was transferred around 01/2005. I received the interview letter the day before yesterday.

Asked:

- All papports, all INS docs
- Medical exam results
- Employment letter
- Evidence of common residence
- ID
- I-864

Update: today I received the FP notice. The appointment was set after interview.
