Hi
I am a US citizen and filed I-485/130/131 and other supporting forms and documents for my father on 1/12. We haven't received fingerprint appointment yet. I saw lots of people have already had fingerprint scheduled and they even submitted the application much later than I did. Just today, we realized that there is a mistake in G-325A:
Last occupation abroad if not shown above. (Include all information requested above.)
since the table in the PDF form is not properly aligned, we just missed the left-most field for the "Full Name and Address of Employer". The other fields (Occupation, From/to dates) are all properly filled. Since my father has already retired 9 years before, there was nothing to fill in the table above for Applicant's employment last five years. This is a very stupid mistake.
My questions are:
1. Is this the reason why we haven't received fingerprint appointment in time?
2. How can we correct it as soon as possible? Do we have to wait for RFE or call NCSC (1-800-375-5283)
3. Is the background check using the G-325A? Does USCIS schedule fingerprint appointment after background check is done successfully?
4. If USCIS finds this information missing, should they issue RFE immediately? We have not even received an RFE letter yet.
Please help and I really appreciate it!
Best regards
Thunder
