help!how to get relation with FBI for name check?

Hi, friends

My I485 was filed to VSC in 11/2001. Yesterday I got the letter from the director of VSC, which said that my case still have routine security check. I don't know why it needs so long time and what I can do next?
Are there anybody who can tell me how to do with FBI for my security check? Thanks in advance.

if i'm correct most probably your case is cleared FBI name check it may be stuck in another security check which no one knows.mine is jan 2002 case my FBI name Check is cleard on Jan 2003 till now i didn't get my approval. every time i inquire about my case all it says is it undegoing routine security checks.so i kind don't know at this point where it might got stuck. find out if you can with your congressman or senators help.i tried several ways no luck for me.
