Help: H1 Employer insisting to use EAD !!

Hi, My H1 with current employer is valid till June, 2006 and the same employer applied my I-140/485/EAD/AP in August, 2004. Got EAD and AP appoved in this last week. My employer is insisting me to fill I-9 form and wants to keep me on EAD instead of H1B.

From the forums i understood that it is safe to be on H1B incase if there is
a problem with I-140/485 approval. I don't understand why my employer is
insisting me to be on EAD?

--> If i start using my EAD with the GC sponsored employer, will my H1 gets
invalidated?

--> If i start using my EAD with the GC sponsored employer and if there is
a problem to my I-140/485 approval, Howcan i go back to H1? and Can i
apply for H1 tranfer to another company at that time?

Do not USE EAD

Its really safe to be in H1. tell ur employer u wanna be on H1 and ask him whats wrong with him. dont use EAD until its really required for you. he is trapping you

You can tell him that till you get I-140 approval you can not use EAD.

Your H1 stamp remains valid, until the employer revokes the same. But, in order for you to fall back on the unexpired H1 on your passport, yu'll have to travel outside and come back in afresh on your H1.
Its crucial that the H1 stamp does not expires for you to apply for renewal or transfer.

When is your H1 is expiring? I-9 will be just with employer and he will not send it any one. You can stay on H1 until your current H1 expires.
 
Strange guy

Strange guy -- that employer -- how does he care about EAD or H1b.. It will hardly affect him in any ways...
